Hi all, Ive had Raynauds for maybe 10 years now, and for most of this time I have had a constant sensations of swelling and pressure, and nerve interaction in all of my fingertips. The slightest touch of a keyboard sends pain signals, but if I type with normal pressure the pain goes away. Also if my fingers are moving the pain goes away. It comes back when the fingers are still. The pressure and nerve? sensations make sleep very difficult. I do notice finger swelling some nights, and occasionally I have a broken capillary under the skin on the fingertip in the morning. It will appear like a little black dot under the skin. Wondering if anyone has any ideas of what causes this, or even if this is related to raynauds?
Hello and welcome to the forum. When other symptoms are present such as you mention along with Raynaud’s, it is best to be evaluated by a doctor to rule out a connective tissue disease. A rheumatologist is the specialist for Raynaud’s.
