Improve blood circulation (temporary). This is good if you have been outside in the cold and want to warm up or you can take in a travel mug with you in cold weather. Put about a level teaspoon of powdered ginger in a cup, add hot water, stir well. Its kind of an acquired taste, add a little honey or lemon if needed. After sipping about half, give it another stir as the ginger settles on the bottom. Side note: Avoid ginger if you are going to have surgery.
