My name is Caroline Martinez. I am 24 years old and live in Little Rock, Arkansas. I was diagnosed with secondary Raynaud’s as well as Lupus about 2 years ago. Nobody else in my family has Raynaud’s but I have a Aunt who also has Lupus. I am still learning to live with both diseases and coping with the frequent attacks. Winter is always worse and I am always wearing gloves. I love to play soccer and that does help at times when exercising however I am not allowed to play outside anymore when the temperatures get cold. I just joined this website to hopefully meet some people that experience the same thing I go through everyday. Some of my other interests are I love to cook, read, be outdoors, and also love the Green Bay Packers!

Hello my name is Donna and I live in Detroit Michigan. I don’t remember when I was diagnosed with Raynaud’s but I have yet to find gloves that work for me. I read some of the suggestions on this website and can’t wait to try the one with either the latex gloves or silk gloves under a pair of mittens. Even though it is officially Spring here in Michigan it is not quite there yet.March 24, 2013 at 11:29 pm #3831

Hi my name is Jenn I’m 18 from Canada. I was diagnosed with Raynaud’s when I was 14 I was also diagnosed with Lupus at about 13. Going through high school with Raynaud’s was hard. My school had no heat in the winter so I had to keep my a hands in my jacket sleeves almost all day. The teachers use to get mad when I stopped working to warm my hands up. Band class was also hard I played the clarinet and is has medal keys so my hands would get really cold, go num and start to shake. I use to have to run to the bathroom and run hot water over them and that was painful. I can’t go out side in the in the fall, winter or spring without wearing earmuffs otherwise I get massive headaches. I’m really happy to of found a site where I can share my stories and get support from others going through this too. 🙂March 26, 2013 at 8:57 am #3841
