I was diagnosed with Raynauds 4 years ago, at the time only some of my fingers were going through the colour change white-red-normal. I have suffered from cold feet for a long time, but they had never changed colour, tingled etc, just got very cold, despite warm footwear etc in the winter. I recently underwent major spinal surgery and had to wear compression socks, every time I took them off, my feet were completely white and absolutely frozen. I no longer need to wear the socks, but my feet still go very white, i never see them go blue or red, it takes ages for them to warm up and return to a normal colour. My fingers no longer seem to change colour, they just get very cold and go pale, then when warmer they return to their usual colour. However I have noticed over the last few weeks, that my fingertips wrinkle when they are cold, sometimes i feel my hands get very hot and swell. I asked my g.p. and a pharmacist, who just said it’s a circulation problem. Is it? Is it Raynauds or something else? I would like your ops please and any advice, thanks.
