Participants Needed for Clinical Trials
The Raynaud’s Association has been contacted by MediQuest Therapeutics, Inc., a pharmaceutical company recruiting for clinical trials of a new topical treatment for Raynaud’s sufferers. Both primary and secondary Raynaud’s sufferers can participate.
The study is looking to recruit patients in the following cities suffering from moderate to severe Raynaud’s syndrome:
- Redwood City, CA
- Farmington, CT
- Grand Rapids, MI
- New Brunswick, NJ
- Wilmington, NC
- Toledo, OH
- Houston, TX
- Milwaukee, WI
- Boston, MA
Over a four-week period, participants will be asked to make six visits to the study site where they will be testing the new treatment under climate-controlled conditions. Recruitment is active now through the end of February, and trials will run through the end of March.
For more information and a list of site locations and contacts, go to Vascana Clinical Trials.

Take a look at this website, they are testing Vascana. The topical gel. I really don’t see a practical application. It’s kind of after the fact of the attack. I would like to NOT have attacks at all.

I just found this website when searching for info about Raynauds. I was diagnosed with this last year. My feet and toes and the main areas of my problem. I have tried prescription drugs, infrared socks but none have helped.

I would like to particpate in this trial, though I am in the Portland OR area, so, I would be happy to go to CA if MediQuest will pay my freight. My doctor isn’t a believer in topical Nitroglycerin treatment, but who knows. I sure would like to find some relief, as my condition seems to continue to worsen with each passing year.
