But these gloves are constructed with a form-fitting, dual-layered, lightweight microfleece that provides added warmth and breathability without the bulk. They aren’t dress gloves by any stretch, but they are quality outdoor gloves that provide a comfortable and flexible fit that helps us Frosties better tolerate the cold.
The batteries are small and flat, so they fit comfy against the wrist. And they offer four heat-level settings, plus an on/off switch. Our testers were easily able to work the controls without removing the gloves, a real plus on the coldest of days! Battery life can range from 2 to 10 hours of straight warmth, depending on the selected settings. We suggest getting the hands nice and toasty on the higher setting (heats up to 135o on high) then turning them down to maintain the warmth while preserving battery life throughout the day.
