Has anyone had a 504 written for their child at the high school level? I am in the process to doing this, and am having trouble with the accommodations. Stress is her number one trigger, and it is hard to help her since she is a high anxiety type child. I have thought of extended time on assignments (when her hands are hurting, it is hard to type/write), extended time on large state assessments (no time limit) and having an extra set of books at home so she doesn't have to carry a large amount in the winter months.

Any other ideas out there??

thanks

maybe use voice-activated computer technology so she doesn't harm her hands typing and writing.
