Last winter my then 12 year old would develop bright red hands and actually one time we rushed her to the ER because she started crying that her hands were going numb. ER doctor took of her shoes and socks and noticed her feet were as white as white could be. He unofficially diagnosed her with Raynauds and said we really should look in to it. Asked our family doctor about it a week later and she didn't think that was it but just that her hands were really dry. Here we are now a year later in winter and her hands and past her wrists are beat red more than they are normal color, you press on them and where you pressed turns pure white..... She says sometimes they feel really hot and other times cold and numb. Never notice her hands or fingers ever being white(or even a normal color), they are always this beat red color that is very noticeable and makes her so self conscious They are not dry. Her feet are usually white and her toes are sometimes white. She did not have this in summer time at all, started once the weather got cold. Could this possibly be Raynauds, if so where do we start for getting help? Is there help??
