Hello! I have had Raynaud’s since I was in my early teens. It hasn’t gotten much worse since then although I think I stay purply a little longer throughout the day than I used to. I also take ADHD medication which I know aggravates it a bit.

I used to run ~20 mi a week but I fell out of it… Started up again recently (running on the treadmill) and I have noticed that I bruise more easily on my hands (the joints) than I normally do elsewhere on my body. My hands are very cold and purple before I enter the gym but warm up through exercise. The bruise doesn’t last long (1 or 2 days max) and I only see it when I’m having a purpley- attack of Raynaud’s.

I don’t even know if this is a bruise. It only happens when I exercise and I do notice that I bang my knuckles on the treadmill bars quite often accidentally (~3 to 4 times a session). My right hand has come away completely unscathed as I hold my phone in that hand (music) while I run so I don’t end up banging that against anything.

Anyone experience anything similar to this or have insight as to what is going on? Thanks!
