Hello! My name is Amanda. I am 39 yrs old and recently diagnosed with Raynaud’s. It all start a few years ago when my body started going numb. This lead to not being able to do the normal things I was always able to do. At first the physicians through it was Lupus, then MS, then its just stress.. Now two years later after 6 MRI’s, MRA’s, a spinal tab, EEG, EKG and numerous blood tests, here I am-same pain, same symptoms and same frustration. I live in the sunny state of FL, but when inside I just can’t seem to get warm. My left side is what hurts the worse. I have consistent ear infections, my vision keeps getting worse, my face looks like I have bells-palsy half the time and the pain in my arms and legs is sometimes unbearable. It’s like this weird cold sensation. I feel like half my body is submerged in water. My fingers and toes turn white/blue and red depending on the setting I am in. I have tried so many medications: Gabapentin, Nortriptyline, Cymbalta, Lyrica, Topamax and Xanax. I have see a RA, Neurologist, PCP, and a Psychiatrist. I am just at my wits end trying to figure out how to cope and continue living my life day to day. I love my job but the air conditioning is so hard for me sometimes. I feel like no one can give me specific answers.. Am I the only one that feels this way?
