I have had Raynauds for about 23 years now (diagnosed when I was about 5). I’ve been tested and monitored for Lupus because of some blood results (ANA levels) but last year was given the all clear unless I see any new symptoms :). I’ve been told that I have pretty classic Raynauds. My hands and feet can go completely white from both cold and stress. They do go numb but I am lucky that I usually get minimal to no pain unless they have been white for a while. My hands go white pretty much every week (summer) or every day (winter) but usually only in response to cold or stress or sudden temperature change (like cooling off after exercise). However, the last couple days I’ve noticed small attacks even when I feel warm, has anyone else experienced this?

Also, my husband and I are trying for a baby, any advice on pregnancy and raynauds? Should I be worried?

Thanks! I look forward to learning from everyone’s stories.

Hello Vicki and welcome to the forum.

You ask a very good question. A post was recently made in the Raynaud’s Research section about a survey that is being conducted on pregnancy and Raynad’s. The recruitment page states that very little is known about how Raynaud’s, both primary and secondary, affects pregnancy.  Your doctor is the best person to answer your question but most people with primary Raynaud’s do well during pregnancy.

I hope you will continue to post in the forum and ask questions.
