My name is Monique Marmon and I am 21. I was diagnosed with Raynauds two months ago. The basics of what happens is this:

-Feet will feel warm and tingly, like there is static in my feet

-That static will turn into sharp shooting pain if I move my feet at all

-Pain, on a scale from 1-10 has been anywhere from a 3 to a 7. I’ll usually start crying if I can’t move my feet because they hurt.

Everyday I experience the pain, and I wear out the sides of my shoes pretty badly by standing on the sides of them. I’m miserable. Any tips?

-I don’t live where it’s very cold. I wear sneakers/boots to work everyday. Socks do not help. When I go to bed sometimes it feels like my feet are little ice bricks.

My fingers do it sometimes to, but to a much lesser extent. Sometimes my feet turn white or purple/red.

Sharp, shooting pain brought on by movement is not typical of Raynaud’s, and it is certainly a symptom that requires attention. I would encourage you to see your doctor to get treatment for your pain. Whether it’s caused by Raynaud’s or by something else, surely something can be done to ease your pain.
