Hello!  It has been a while since I have been on here.  I have recently been having a noticeable increase in the number and severity of attacks despite the heat.  Also, I have been experiencing some joint pain and stiffness with activity (I walk almost 14 miles a day) that I have not had until just lately.  I am already taking a low dose CCB and have had success with it so far until now.  My question is whether or not it is normal to experience “bouts”.  I was originally diagnosed as primary, but have not been retested since the diagnosis.  Anyone have tips or advice for what to keep track of or to take concern with?

    Hello Casey

The symptoms of joint pain, stiffness and an increase in the severity of attacks should be investigated by a doctor. These are symptoms associated with an autoimmune disease. Are you seeing a rheumatologist?

You may want to keep a daily symptom diary. Record how you feel when you first wake up and the number and severity of Raynaud’s attacks. This will be helpful to the doctor.

    Please keep us updated.

Thank you for your advice.  I will definitely start a diary.  I am not seeing a rheumatologist but am under the care of our primary doctor.

    Thanks again!
