Hello Raynaud’s community,
Has anyone attempted to use low pressure “gloves” like the ones produced by Avacore (www.avacore.com)? They use a hard plastic shell and an airtight seal to hold around a -1.5 psi pressure on a person’s hand. The lower pressure causes a person’s capillaries to dilate.
I’ve built a few glove prototypes for friends that are dealing with MS and I’m wondering if the gloves would work for Raynaud’s patients too.
If you live in the greater Washington DC area, I have a Raynaud’s specific prototype you can try out. If you’re interested, either reply to this post with contact info or email me at green.stephen.e at gmail <dot> com.
