Greetings from Michigan. It’s a balmy 6 degrees today. Sigh..

I’m not sure if this is the right area for this question. Has anyone tried sildenafil(viagra) as a medication to battle Reynaud’s symptoms? It promotes better blood flow. Which is supposed to make the extremities(toes, fingers, etc..) warmer.

Viagra, Cialis, etc. have been used to successfully treat Raynaud’s. Since they are not covered by insurance taking them for Raynaud’s can be costly. Some members report getting insurers to approve them but these cases are when other drugs have not worked and the person has severe Raynaud’s with digital ulcers. The drug is usually stopped after the ulcer heals.
