Victoria Abbott-Fleming, the founder of a web site called Burning Nights, shared with us the infographic below. Burning Nights is a charity based in the UK supporting sufferers of complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS), a chronic pain condition most often affecting one of the limbs.
The infographic was inspired by the millions of people around the world who, like CRPS sufferers, have an illness that’s not easily apparent (such as Raynaud’s), and how it can be difficult for those with these conditions to perform everyday tasks. Because these invisible illnesses may not be physically obvious to other people, it’s difficult for them to understand how they can complicate our lives.
The title “But You Don’t Look Sick” says it all!
