We came across the following new products that may bring warmth and comfort to Raynaud’s sufferers. We especially liked the great color options available for each of these new discoveries!
Ugg® Alloway Glitter – Looks like another winner from UGG®. These stylish flats are sparkly suede on the outside with UGG’s signature sheepskin on the inside. So Frosties can scoot through town and dance all night without frozen toes! The molded rubber outersole makes them extra comfy. Order directly from UGG for $100. Come in Red, Black, Champagne, Chocolate and Sterling.
Tervis® Thermal Mugs – We’ve seen insulated mugs like these in the past that have an acrylic outer layer protecting our sensitive fingers from the cold liquids inside, and they are a great solution for Raynaud’s sufferers. But these are the first ones we’ve seen with handles making them extra safe for Frosties! The mugs are lightweight, virtually unbreakable and easy to hold on the outside or using the handle. Dishwasher safe. Holds a full 15 ounces. A bit pricy for a plastic mug, but lots of good features. Available at Gold Violin in Sapphire, Ruby, Emerald and Quartz.
Wrap-Around Blanket – It’s not so easy today to find blankets on an airplane; some airlines are even charging for the luxury (Frostie discrimination?). So next trip, be armed for warmth with this lightweight, microfiber blanket that folds into its own compact carry pouch. We’ve seen these portable blankets in the past, but this one has a bonus feature – it attaches directly to the outside of your carry-on bag. Most of the blanket pouches we’ve tried are just too bulky to fit inside your bag, so this is an excellent solution. Available at Magellans for $30. Comes in Cocoa, Ocean Blue, Pewter and Plum.
