February 28, 2013 is Rare Disease Day – an annual event where hundreds of patient organizations from around the world are showing their support for rare causes with awareness-building activities and events.
While Raynaud’s is far too widespread to be considered a rare disease, Raynaud’s can be a secondary disease to a number of rare primary ailments, such as Lupus, Scleroderma, and Sjogren’s Disease. So we want to show our support for fellow Frosties with these serious and rare autoimmune conditions and hope our members will, too.
Click here for a list of ways you can get involved. For more information on Rare Disease Day go to http://www.rarediseaseday.org/.
