Nicole Edwards, a fellow Frostie and a talented singer-songwriter from Canada, wrote a song for us, and it’s the driving force behind this year’s Raynaud’s Awareness Campaign theme “Feeling Blue.” So join us and sing-a-long to the Raynaud’s Blues!
The song is featured in our newly-released public service announcements, and we created ringtones that can be purchased in iPhone and Android-ready formats for just $1.99 from our new Raynaud’s Store.
Nicole will be videotaping her band performing the song live later this month, but we didn’t want to wait to share the song with you, so enjoy the tune. If you love it, please support our cause and buy the ringtone!

Raynaud’s Blues

It’s a hot, sunny day, I wanna wear my summer dress
But my fingers & toes are cold nonetheless
I’m feeling blue, every hue
I’ve got the Raynaud’s Phenomenon, chilled to the bone cold Blues
I go to the fridge to get myself a bite
Before I eat a thing my fingers are turning white
I’m feeling blue, & I’m frozen right through
I’ve got the Raynaud’s Phenomenon, chilled to the bone cold Blues
I get so cold just doing my thing
I’ve got to stop what I’m doing to take care of that sting
My fingers are blue, & they are throbbing too
I’ve got the Raynaud’s Phenomenon, chilled to the bone cold Blues
Singing Ooooooh I need a hot water bottle
Oooooo feeling better in a sauna
Ooooooo gimme a hot cup of tea
Oooooo hand warmers if you please
I’m wearing so many layers of merino wool
To try to keep away the chill
I can’t eat ice cream or drinks with ice
Unless I’m in a hot tub cozy & nice
I’m feeling blue, it’s showing too
I’ve got the Raynaud’s Phenomenon, chilled to the bone cold Blues
I’ve got the Raynaud’s Phenomenon frozen deep down bone cold Blues
