Tips on Using Essential Oils

Leigh, a fellow Frostie on Facebook shared the following member tips on using essential oils with one of our Board members:

“I use Frankincense and Cypress for flare ups, but ever since using essential oils and vitamins, my flare ups/symptoms are much less overall.”

Leigh found another post for us on doTerra’s Facebook page with tips from another Frostie diagnosed with Raynaud’s, along with what she calls “neuropathic pain” in the same hand. She started using essential oils after major side effects from a drug she was taking for the pain.

She says the oils have made her Raynaud’s attacks less frequent and shorter, plus she says she’s “wearing a short-sleeve shirt to work for the first time in a year and a half and am thrilled about it.” Her regimen includes a combination of:

  • Frankincense
  • Copaiba
  • Marjoram
  • Wild Orange
  • Ylang Ylang
  • Homemade Violet Oil (not explained, sorry!)

It’s a pretty complicated formula as she talks about drops of each, then moves in her formula to reference teaspoons, but we wanted to share the overall combination and maybe some Frosties will find a way to put them together in a way that works for them.

Thanks so much Leigh for sharing these tips on using essential oils!
