Fellow Frostie Cara told us about two products that keep her toes toasty warm and she agreed to let us share her experience in our Fall 2024 Member Tips column. We’ve had positive feedback on both products in the past, so it was good to get another thumbs up vote for them!
Here’s what Cara shared with us:
Two items I have found seem to work extremely well. One is Neoprene toe warmers. I order mine online via Amazon with a company called Meister (there are other companies, but Meister is the only one that makes them c-u-r-v-e with your toes). About $12 a pair. I typically have four pairs on hand and are placed everywhere in my home and car.
The other product is a set of Baffin Cush Booty Slippers, $40 through Amazon.com (other Baffin choices as well). It creates a layer of warm air that surrounds your feet and ankles. Everything stays toasty and comfy. Bloch sells booties as well but can get a bit tighter above the ankle, making it more work to get in and out of the bootie. Both work extremely well. Hope this helps fellow Raynaud’s sufferers.
We mentioned the Baffin Slippers a few years back after seeing them in an article written by another Frostie: Frostie Warrior’s Warm Product Tips (the author referred to them as “warm sleeping bags for your feet!”). The Meister Toe Warmers were featured in one of our Hot Product posts: Hot Products for Fall 2021. These are thin toe covers made of Neoprene, a synthetic rubber fabric used in wet suits for keeping skin divers warm and dry. Their thin design suggests they will easily fit inside shoes and boots without adding too much bulk.
