As part of our Raynaud’s Awareness Month campaign six years ago, we launched a quiz designed to help people recognize Raynaud’s symptoms and seek more information about the disorder. Response to the quiz was so strong that we continued to keep it available and promote it throughout the year. Today we’re happy to announce that the quiz has achieved a huge new milestone: Over 200,000 people have responded to the quiz!
When it first launched our partners at PR Newswire/MultiVu who host the quiz told us it was the first time their team has seen this number of respondents to an interactive survey after its first week. Results for the full campaign were so strong that their team documented its performance as a case history. But we never dreamed that the quiz would have this tremendous reach over time!
The quiz is now an anchor feature for all of our Raynaud’s Awareness Month activities. It’s engagement has increased as we inserted it directly into the landing page for our press releases and other campaign components. That means people reading about it no longer have to exit to a new screen or tab to start the evaluation process.
Questions cover such areas as being cold even in warmer seasons, experiencing pain from holding cold objects, color changes in the fingers and toes when exposed to cold or stress, and more. It’s a quick read and can be completed in the time it takes to read 5 questions with yes/no answers – barely one minute!
We’re excited in achieving this new milestone as it means we’re touching many lives who may not have been aware that their pain and discomfort has a medical explanation. Building awareness of Raynaud’s is our key mission, and it appears the quiz is playing a major role in educating many potential sufferers seeking to live a warmer and more comfortable life.
If you know others who may have Raynaud’s, please encourage them to visit the Raynaud’s Quiz to see if they potentially should explore their symptoms with their doctor.
