We found some new products this season that could bring warmth and comfort to fellow Frosties in some categories we haven’t seen before.
Lollilook Stroller Hand Warmer – This is a hand warmer made to fit over the bar of a stroller so that mom doesn’t get frosty paws during her walks with baby – what a great idea! The warmer has a fleecy soft lining and is covered in waterproof oxford cloth to keep hands dry in wet weather. Looks like this is a popular item, as Amazon is sold out, but we did find it available on Destinationbaby.com for $20.99. Comes in red and black to coordinate with baby’s stroller.
The Company Store Lacrosse® Dual Weight-Comforter – Most Frosties want maximum warmth in their bed linens, which can be too heavy for our warm-blooded spouse or partner. Now The Company Store has a solution: A comforter that has different warmth levels built into each side of the covers (check out the photo – larger squares on the left supply more warmth). Choose between lightweight/medium warm or medium weight/extra warmth. Also a choice on the fill – 500-550 fill power down, PrimaLoft® Deluxe fill, or their hypoallergenic down alternative. Comes with a lifetime guarantee for $229 – $339. Just wish they had color choices, for now it’s only available in hard-to-keep-clean white.
Thermoskin® Circulation Thermal Slippers – These triple-layer slippers don’t appear all that warm from the outside, but check out the video for a look at the cushy inner layer that removes pressure points, wicks away moisture and facilitates air flow. The outer layer provides light compression and reduces inflammation. But it’s the inner layer that works to trap warmth and raise the skin’s temperature. The manufacturer claims the product is clinically proven to boost circulation. Slippers are universal, so they work on either foot. Bottoms have rubberized anti-slip soles for protection. They say these slim booties can be worn while sleeping. Available in men’s and women’s sizes S through XL based on shoe size. We’ve seen them on several sites for $59.95, but Amazon sells them for $39.95.
If you try any of the above products, we’d love your feedback, and please share your new product finds with us. Write to info@raynauds.org, post them in our Discussion Forum or on our Facebook Fan page.
