It’s that time of the year when we come across new products that may bring warmth and comfort to Raynaud’s sufferers and share them with fellow Frosties.
Echo Classic Glittens – Ann in Texas found a great solution to warm her frosty fingers. Here’s what she tells us about these gloves: “I have tried a number of techniques and products for my fingers and been disappointed in all until last winter when I found Echo Designs. I now have three pair of their Classic Glisten gloves. They are lambswool gloves worn under a leather mitten. The mitten has a horizontal zipper across the palm of the hand at the base of the fingers. This allows access to the fingers without removing the mitten or the glove. I insert a Grabber Handwarmer in the pocket and it gives 7 hours of heat before it is exhausted. Truly a miracle for me!” They are available in four fashionable colors that will go with everything in your wardrobe. Priced at $89, in Small through XL sizes. Thanks so much for sharing Ann!
Eddie Bauer Evertherm Down Jacket – Eddie Bauer is known for its outerwear that helps protect against the cold. They’ve just introduced a new down jacket that has no quilting, so it sits smooth against the body for a slimmer look, and claims to hold heat better than traditional down, protecting wearers in up to -15 degree conditions (brrrrr!). On their site, you’ll see a thermal visual of how much warmer this jacket is against other down options. It’s also water repellent (an issue for most down coats) and windproof. Comes with Eddie Bauer’s “Guaranteed for Life” warranty. Sounds heavenly, but one issue for Frosties, the longest jacket is just parka length. Available in several styles and colors for $249 to $299.
