2018 Theme for Raynaud’s Awareness Month

Our 2018 theme for Raynaud’s Awareness Month is “Don’t Turn a Cold Shoulder to Painful Fingers” – to urge those with the painful disorder – and their doctors – not to dismiss the pain Raynaud’s sufferers endure.

We’re asking fellow Frosties to share with us their Cold Shoulder stories in our post “Ever Given the Cold Shoulder?” and received many stories submitted on our Facebook page in response to our September 10th post.

Let’s all stand up for our right to be taken seriously.  Raynaud’s affects millions of sufferers, but most cases go unrecognized, undiagnosed, and ignored.  Please help us spread the word this October for Raynaud’s Awareness Month!

Here’s our press release for this year’s campaign:  https://www.multivu.com/players/English/8396551-raynauds-association-october-raynauds-awareness-month/.  Please share it with friends, family and co-workers!

  1. I’m so happy that people are starting to talk about this disease ! I honestly haven’t bothered trying to get help for it anymore because my doctors know I have it (it goes along with my SLE lupus and my fibromyalgia apparently) I just kind of suffer through it in silence now because when I mention I was having trouble with it they would quietly write their notes and never offer a solution so I didn’t think there was one . I don’t even think my family understands how painful it is because I just deal with it silently
