Fall is a good time for scouting new products to keep us warm and protected throughout the cold weather season. Check out our hot products for Fall 2019:
Tumi Clairmont Reversible Packable Puffer Jacket – This cute jacket is made of down, a great insulator for warmth, with a water-resistant nylon outer shell. The combination makes the jacket a good option for transition seasons when you don’t want to pull out your heavy-duty long coats but need more than a lightweight jacket. Plus it’s got some excellent features: First, it’s reversible – there’s a fun, contemporary grey/hot pink floral print on one side, then it reverses to a solid coordinating Merlot for a different look. But wait, there’s more: This versatile jacket packs up into a handy travel pillow – the donut-shaped kind you place around your neck for comfy dozing on an airline flight (the technique for converting it through a hidden pouch in the collar is patented). It’s made by Tumi, a well-known travel brand, so it makes sense they’d think of creative ways to use their products on the road. Great news: The jacket is now on sale for $169 (originally priced at $245), so hurry before they sell out!
Esfranki Extra-warm Fleece Touchscreen Gloves – Barbie on Facebook brought this product to our attention. Keep in mind, we haven’t tested these gloves, but they do appear cozy with an ultra-soft thermal fleece lining in attractive winter designs like snowflakes and reindeer. What Frosties will enjoy most about these gloves is the touchscreen-friendly fingers. Many of the gloves we see only provide this feature on the index finger, but we often need more than one finger to expand and manipulate photos or content on our phones. These gloves have three touchscreen-sensitive fingers, so that should help keep us from having to remove our gloves outside when using our phones. Gloves come in a variety of designs and colors and are now on sale for $12.97, down from the original price of $26. At that price, why not purchase more than one!
MUT LUKS Heat Retainer Socks – Again, we haven’t tried this product, but found some photos on Pinterest and thought they looked comfy and cozy for a cold winter’s day! They are made of acrylic, polyester and spandex – no wool or special sauce like the Heat Holders socks we love, but they appear to be really thick and soft, so they should feel good on days when our Frostie toes are in need of some love and care. Available in a number of prints and colors from HSN (we like the Timberwolf/Ivory combo). The price on the site says $16, but the accompanying video says $11.20.
If you try any of the above products, we’d love your feedback, and please share your new product finds with us. Write to info@raynauds.org, post them in our Discussion Forum or on our Facebook Fan page.
