We already feel the momentum building and could use your help to promote Raynaud’s Awareness Month this October!  It’s our second year for this event.

October is an important time for us to reach to the millions of sufferers who experience Raynaud’s symptoms, particularly in the coming colder months, but have no idea that their pain and discomfort relates to a medical condition.  Of the 15 to 30 million estimated sufferers nationwide, only one in ten recognizes that they have Raynaud’s and will seek treatment.

You can play an important role in helping us reach out to the millions of Frosties who are “Feeling Blue” from Raynaud’s by taking one or more of the following actions:

  • Heated Wristies with Etched Logo Purchase Special Edition Heated Wristies®:  Our Sponsor at Wristies® is offering a limited edition version of their fingerless gloves etched with our logo. Made with cushy Polartec® fleece, Wristies® offer Frosties added warmth when dexterity for typing, writing, cooking or other indoor activities is needed.  These are the Heated Wristies®, with a pocket that holds a mini hand warmer for extra warmth – very popular with Frosties!  In keeping with this year’s “Feeling Blue” campaign theme, these limited edition hand warmers are available in Royal Blue.  Two sizes (S or L) for $23. (Note: A free pair of air-activated HotHands® hand warmers is included.  Our Sponsor at HotHands® increased their member discount for October, so stock up on supplies for your new Wristies now!).  Click here to order these Special Edition Wristies.

  • Download Our “Feeling Blue” Ringtone:  Nicole Edwards, a fellow Frostie who is a singer-songwriter composed, a song for this year’s event called “The Raynaud’s Blues.”  (Here’s a link to the full song with the words).  We used the song in our newly-released public service announcements launched for RAM, and created a short (30-second) version that can be used as cellphone ringtones.  We have versions already formatted for either iPhones or Androids, but you will need to go through a few steps to get them loaded properly. The tune is so much fun, you’ll even smile when you get SPAM calls (just let it keep playing)!  And when your phone rings with the bluesy tune, make sure you let people know the meaning behind the song.  Click here to order, just $1.99 in support of our cause!
  • ram-2016-sweatshirt-kirks-artBuy/wear/display our new Apparel:  We have a new design this year, again featuring our lovable mascot Shivers on the front, and our logo on the back. It promotes the “Feeling Blue” theme of this year’s campaign, and will hopefully be a good conversation starter when you wear them around town.  In addition to both short and long-sleeve t-shirts ($22 & $25), we’ve added a crew-neck sweatshirt ($30) and a hoodie ($35), available in unisex adult sizes S,M,L,XL.  Click here to order now and get your shirts during our October campaign!
  • Shivers Knit BirdGive our mascot a warm home:  Our Sponsor at Knit Happens is offering a limited number of hand-knitted replicas of our mascot Shivers that you can have for your very own! Feel free to add some accessories (hats, scarves) to keep the little guy warm, and share your photos of Shivers in his new home!  They are priced at $20, with $10 of every sale donated to the Raynaud’s Association.  But hurry, only ten of these cute animals will be available!  Click here to order.

Stay tuned for great news for Frosties during Raynaud’s Awareness Month – larger discounts on many products in our Marketplace section for the month of October, plus our new Raynaud’s Store where you can buy the above items and several other logo products and resources to help build awareness for our cause!
